Xenakis: Phitoprakta

The concept of the video is a 3D composition of a Xenakis visual recording song. His fascinating manuscript and manner of creation fascinated me so much that even his visual aspect of the song is completely charming.

I decided to move the 3D object according to Xenakis’ precise creation, leaving a sense of confusion while not exceeding the logical mathematical overlays. This acts as creating a sense of space in which there is no freedom of simple emotion flow. Since Xenakis’ music is quite cold and impersonal, his experimental nature is an inexhaustible inspiration for various abstract compositions and visual aspects.

The building contains several possible materials, from marble, through glass to etched glass. Parts of the video are dominated by the composition of individual animations transformed into kaleidoscopic formations, blending animations, zoom videos, details on materials, and moving individual tactics into minimalist movements.

Indeed, 3D visualization resembles abstract space and distortion of visual aspects.
